Sewing and Quilting

 I have had this maxi skirt pattern(McCalls's #6608) for sometime. I wanted to finish it and I finally did!
Instead of the waistband, I added 4" black elastic and lengthened it because I can never get a skirt full length.

 I love my design wall.  It is free standing, so I can put it up as needed and move where ever I need to.

    Your skirt is SO CUTE! And I love your Marine quilt. So cool! Lots of talent! I bet you'd like my mom's blog: www.connieanddan.blogspot.com. She's got lots of pics of her kids and grandkids, but fun quilt things, too.
